So I am currently in the USO at teh houston Airport waiting for my flight. To your left you"ll see by "bedroom" last night, as it was. I am on my way to Camp Shelby after a few days in South Fort Hood. I was excited yesterday to get to take my DLAB. I did really well on it, so I'm excited about that. I scheduled my flight for the afternoon to accomodate that, but then my 4:50 flight didn't take off until 8pm and I missed my connection. So i got to sleep at the airport. Hardly a first, but still not ideal. I have got an unbelievable amount of crap with me, so when i found out about it when I was still at the airport by fort hood it just wasn't worth hauling it all back. I have 6 oversized checked bags. including one weapons case with two rifles. I was perfactly happy to let the airline deal with all that once it was handed over. I did talk them into letting me rescue my dvd player and pillow from bags, so that made a huge difference. So I fly into Gulfport in a few hours and then I think we actually start training on Monday. I am just excited to get it started and finished and get to Kuwait!
